This is the work of Yuji Moriguchi, a Tokyo-based artist who, according to the site I found this on, called PingMag, “blends a frank but still innocent looking eroticism with delicate traditional Japanese painting, spicing it up with contemporary manga.” This doesn’t look like manga to me, but I have trouble spotting it — as I know almost nothing about it. He did study manga at art school, so I guess the influence is definately in there.
This guy is mixing some ideas that really appeal to me. It’s a little kinky, a little erotic and, and a little innocent. Hard to mix those, I think. I’m not including my favorites by him mostly because I don’t want people viewing this at work to get in trouble, but he’s got some pretty wild goodies in the article. The interview itself isn’t bad either.
