And when I say “sacked,” I don’t mean the British vernacular for being fired. In case you missed it, the CNN International Reporter Richard Quest was arrested last week in Central Park for what amounted to a park curfew violation. However, further details have emerged.

Seemingly with glee from MSNBC:

A CNN journalist who was arrested in New York was not only carrying drugs, but also had a rope tied around his neck and his genitals.

Interesting. Maybe he was filming some kind of luxury rat catching and ended up with a rope around his neck and testicles. Wonder if Larry King was in the vicinity.

Quest, 46, was approached by police for loitering, before voluntarily admitting “I’ve got some meth in my pocket”, police claim.

A routine search then found the rope, as well as a sex toy tucked into his boot.

Sounds like quite a night. Of course none of these details matter as Quest has already been told he will be cleared of the charges if he undergoes counseling.

Actually, very few of us probably really know what it is to be truly Quested…but you know what I mean.
