Like a hair metal band after a long hiatus, Aaron and I realized that we missed rocking out on EWC. So we’re getting it rolling again. We were putting our zany yet informative posts about baseball and things Asia-related on Facebook, but it just wasn’t the same. Aaron started a solo project that sold a few thousand copies, while I started my new project: photograpy and film-making. Other Asia-related internet pursuits just weren’t the same.
Before we get things rolling again, we decided to lay down a few ground rules for the site:
1. We are going to post when we want if we feel like it. Although there may be periods of it, don’t expect daily content. At least until Aaron goes on one of his obsessive compulsive writing binges, and then maybe. But our jobs and obligations to our clubs come first.
2. For those scouts, agents, and other folks in the baseball business who were checking into the site to mine it for crumbs of info without contributing anything to the discussion, a. f**k you, go to games and do your own work and b. don’t expect scouting reports or hints on unsigned talent out here in Asia. It’s not gonna happen. The content will likely be a little more out there than before. We’re gonna start putting up original photos. Poems. Essays. Artsy stuff like that.
3. On a similar note, we are asking that if you read this site that you think of it as a kind of community and contribute to it either in the form of comments or feedback. Our initial plan was to create a project that was both creative and also started a dialogue about baseball in Asia that presented a clear picture to English speaking audiences. Whether you want to admit it or not, if you are scouting in Asia, you were probably checking this site every day. Sometimes several times a day. So we encourage you to join in this time around in helping create an involved dialogue about the world of baseball in Asia.
So, welcome back to the reunion tour. Get your lighters out and hold em’ up high.

All right, I’m on. Jackson, does your new hobby involve time travel? That’s a great pic of Lou and the Babe.

Awesome, I knew there be a comeback. It’s like Rickey Henderson away from the game of baseball.
I love the picture of Lou and the Babe and I suppose this means we’ll get our fair share of K-Pop again here. I also found the category “Gratuitious Shots of Attractive Women” interesting, hope there’s more of them like the old days. All in all, its glad to have you both back so I can read my favorite blog again.

Nice to have the blog back, but the website keeps redirecting me to spam every time I click on an individual post.
