Ted Walker, who’s working on some new photos for a Team USA WBC 2009 piece I’m doing, has a new site that’s pretty funny and not remotely related to baseball. It’s called THATguy, and is a humor/photoshop site in the vein of I can has cheezburger, which he links to.

If you haven’t seen “I can has cheezburger” and you kind of like cats, I highly recommend it. You’ll get some good laffs. Reminds me of America’s Funniest Home Videos, which I also used to like. I probably shouldn’t be writing this out loud, should I?

The makers of “I can has cheezburger” have a newer spinoff site, called Fail blog. I really don’t need to be touting these sites, because they get more readers in 10 minutes than EWC does in a week. But they’re both funny.  I did make an attempt to find something Asia-related to post here. This was the best I could come up with:

I also noticed regular reader Baekgom started a blog, called appropriately enough — The baekgom’s lair. He’s got some Korean film reviews and a story about the rugby salary cap. Unfortunately after a very productive beginning of August he hasn’t posted. Why do the good always die young?
