I promise I won’t link to everything I write for MLB Trade Rumors, but this is more of an article than a post and it concerns Pirates  first baseman  turned  outfielder Steve Pearce, a major league ready hitter who is currently blocked and likely to be sent back to the minors. Hence its inclusion in the Blocked Prospects series.

I’m going to be doing a regular shift as part of the MLBTR Bullpen, which means I’ll more or less be keeping tabs on the site from 5-9 p.m. Sunday Central Time. That’s 7-11 a.m. over here, which works out nice for everyone. I’ll be in full on drivetime, morning madness mode. Just kidding. I’m not a morning madness kind of guy unless you count my recent switch to using a coffee grinder every morning the actions of a  madman.

I do want to point out though,  it is  cool to be working alongside so-to-speak  a couple other guys who run sites I read and like.
