I’ve been meaning to mention that japanesebaseball.com recently launched a couple good looking blogs dedicated to three NPB teams.
- First, off is Bayside West, dedicated to the Yokohama BayStars, written by none other than Westbay-san, the author of japanesebaseball.com, himself. He’s only got one update thus far, but I’m sure will have plenty to go over once the season starts. Should be a good read.
- The second is Hanshin Tigers 2008, penned by Christopher Amano-Langtree, a longtime, frequent commenter on the site. He’s already got several updates and by-the-way is looking for a better blog title. Help him out.
- The third is The SoftBank Source, a site that hasn’t been updated much yet, but does have a comprehensive season preview already posted.

Thanks for the mention. And I’d like to add that BigManZam (who runs the video game section) has started his up with an excellent review of the Marines going into 2008. The 26th Man is in reference to the 26th player on the Chiba Lotte Marines’ roster - the fans.
I have so many things to do before the season starts that writing is kind of taking a back seat right now. But when the season starts, I plan on at least weekly updates.
Keep up the great work covering Korea. I find my baseball world seriously expanding through Asia here and on many of the sites you link to.
