The point of this story for me (which I’m linking from Global Voices via Danwei) is made near the end when the writer notes the fact that everyone with a cell-phone will become a journalist. This, again, in China, a country where media control and tight security is a large part of the equation. It’s going to be interesting.
At a lavash press-conference annoucing the renaming of China Central TV’s sports channel — from CCTV 5 to The Olympics Channel — the wife of CCTV-5’s top announcer and sports director Zhang Bin, walked onto the stage and accused Zhang of having an affair.
The woman, Hu Ziwei, is also the host of an Olympics-themed program at Beijing TV. As you can see in the video she is restrained, but definately gets her money worth.

1. each tv station and each the radio station must be own 100% by person live within physical area serve by tv station. this call the local ownership.
2. no single person to owning more than 1% of any one tv station stock certificate. this make the diverse ownership.
3. abolish him networks, abccbsnbcfox. then to letting local own station form own networks with power from bottom up (flow from shareholder to board of director to ceo), not him top down like now in usa.
