Before a rockus sold-out crowd in Deagu  the Samsung Lions kept their hopes of a third consecutive championship alive by shutting out the Hanwha Eagles by a 6-0 count.

Five relievers combined on a  three hit  shutout for the Lions who will now head back to Daejeon Baseball Stadium for a final game 3.

The game was a tight battle, the  lone run coming on a home run by Jin Kap-yeong in the second inning. The single run was enough until  the 6th inning when catcher Yang Jun-hyuk hit a line drive 125-meter (410 ft.)  2-run home run directly over the centerfield fence.

Samsung’s second pitcher Yung Sung-hwan picked up the win, throwing 2 2/3 innings, this depite getting hit on the inside of his right shin by a line drive in the 5th inning.
