As you can see, we’ve retired East Windup Chronicle Ver. 1.0 and switched to a  jazzy new theme. Naturally, this will take some time in getting used to for everyone. For example, don’t click on the buttons labeled “archives” or “about.”

See, I  told you not to. Anyway, really nothing else will be changing. But I’d like to make a couple of announcements. One, as you can see there is a panoramic photo in the masthead and you’ll find four others as you navigate through the site. I’d like to make a request of you — our loyal readers — to please send us any other panoramic photo ideas you might have. I picked the current selections. Some are better than others, but how about if you guys — our dear, dear readers —  contribute either a pic of your  own creation or one scavenged from the ether? If we get enough we’ll just rotate them in and out. Won’t that be fun? We can change the photo theme every week and everyone can participate. That is, until we sell the space where the name is now. Then we’ll move the name down to where  your photos used to be  and there’ll be a  nice big ad across the top for…say,  baby milk, or bras.  

There are plenty of panoramic photos out there, but most of them are new and of sunsets and stuff. The old-style photos — like those old Japanese baseball cards we had going in Ver. 1.0 — aren’t as readily  available, but they’re out there. I guess I don’t have another announcement. Most likely,  we’re going to feel this theme change more deeply than you. I can still remember the first time I laid my eyes on ol’ Letterhead 1.0. This blog was so new and we, Jackson and I, were mere fresh faced lads, not yet kissed by the glow of the blogosphere, but—
