A couple of wild happenings at yesterday’s Doosan/SK tilt. First, check out this takeout slide by Doosan’s Kim Jae-ho on SK’s Oh Jae-hwan. Note the slice on Oh’s left pant leg.
There were some dramatics following the play that included SK’s coach Kim Sung-kun getting on the ground and demonstrating what had happened.
Later a foreigner, looking much like Mr. Clean, ran onto the field and did a couple laps around the bases. At one point he was tripped by one of the umpires. Doosan went on to win the game in 11 innings.
If you want to see these in video form follow this link to the Korean portal site Naver. Even if you don’t read Korean I think you’ll be able to find your way around and see each highlight.

It’s nice to see that the Doosan/SK rivalry is still alive and going strong…especially after last year’s Korean Series.
looks like that white guy probably was bigger than most of the players and umpires on the field.
on another note..did you see how horrible Jose Lima did in Sunday’s game? He ended up with an ERA of 27….gave up something like 6 runs in an inning and a third. i think his time in the KBO is coming to a close real quickly….

Yeah, I ‘m wondering if that’ll be it for Lima. Kia’s really in need of some momentum and Lima seems to kill it every time.
Maybe Romano is still in country…
As for that clown…it was kind of surreal watching him run around like that. I think everyone kind of froze. Usually in the states…or, Canada, where it seems to happen more often, the security looks to pummel the offender. But he had a good run before anyone laid a hand on him. He was taking a second lap.

I think they should look at signing that guy. That was a great slide into home. And he showed some heart with his celebrations. Needs to improve his foot speed though.

Red Dog: you must be quite the righteous athlete yourself… If they dont pick him up out there, it wont be long before the farms of the MLB pick this cat up. He’s clearly superior to those at Shinsono that day. And if only baseball didnt have more brawls, you know this guy would be a great addition to any team!

I read that the foreigner has a criminal record back in Canada for sodomizing squirrels. If you can overlook that, he would be a great addition to the team and country. His athleticism is phenominal…watch as he straight arms the first ump and hurdles the second ump karate leg sweep…followed by sacrificing his own body for the fans with that slide into home. Furthermore, the security guards were clearly intimidated by him.

Btown, I played hockey with that guy growing up and his intensity and passion that he brings to every game proves it right there. It does not matter whether he looks like Mr.Clean or WWE star Curt Angle’s brother, the man has heart, which is a lot more than I can say Team Doosen had that day. And yes…I have seen him sodomize squirrels back in his hay days!

That dirtball had great head fakes out there. Those umps did not stand a chance. Hightlight of the night. He pumped up Doosan for the victory as well. Doosan should bring him back as the “Mr. Clean Mascott”
