Here I’d been thinking Woori Heroes was the first KBO team sponsored by a cigarette company. I was only partly right. Here’s an old Haitai ad for cigarette gum. Haitai is a confectionery company, and former owners of the Tigers, who are now owned by Kia.
Incidentally the Tigers are the most successful franchise in Korean baseball history.
The top says something like “Me and My Dad.” Cute.
