Allah be praised, contributing writer Iron Chef has taken time off from his New Year’s holiday in sunny Vancouver to tip us off to some new ingenious modern art pieces and cartoons inspired by the continually unfolding Edison Scandal in Hong Kong.The scene has now grown into even more of a fiasco and engendered a keystone-cops like search by Hong Kong police for dastardly perverted criminals uploading the incredibly raunchy set of photos of Edison Chen with some of Hong Kong’s most (in)famous female celebrities.

This rather Dali-esque piece reads “Bad Man’s Sky”, which is a takeoff on some movie I’ve never seen.  The pun was lost on me but the imagery nonetheless remains, er, captivating.  The entire series of photos and comic scenes can be seen here.   We recommend running it through the Google Translator, although many of the pop culture references in the photos won’t register with non-Chinese speakers.   Most of the images, however, speak for themselves.
