I hope Mussina does the make the Hall and as a Oriole. That said its well known I’m a O’s fan.
I think this link shows who Mussina was better with.
Using Baseball Reference, Mussina is a HOFer in 3 of the 4 categories. His similar pitchers include Juan Marchial, Jim Palmer, and Carl Hubbell.
Returning to my point Mussina should go in as a O its undeniable to do otherwise. Though trust me there will be a lot of O’s fans who want nothing to do with Mussina even though it was our cheapskate owner Angelos who drove him out of town.
You can believe our misery when Mussina left out of town. Also, I was angry at first and was for a while when Mussina left, but I was also young at the time didn’t understand the whole reason Mussina left. As the years grew by I realized Angelos was a moron and until recently was destroying our team by signing high priced free agents which depleted our farm system and would not pull the trigger on a revelant trade, but back to Mussina if I were him and the way Angelos treated me I leave too. But he’s defiently a HOFer as a Oriole and I look forward to seeing him in the Hall wearing a O’s cap.

Also while were discussing Mussina my favorite moment of him was this game. I remember watching it on TV like it was yesterday. I was hopping mad with anger with Sandy Alomar Jr got that hit in the 9th with 1 out.
My most infamous game with Mussina, though it wasn’t his fault since he pitched a gem was this game. Mussina went 8 innings, on no run ball, walking 2, and striking out 10. Though that image of Armando Bentiez giving that home run up to Tony Fernandez still haunts me to this day. Also, watching Roberto Alomar stand there looking at strike 3 to the end the game haunts me too to this day. Well enough with the trip down memory lane. All in all, I hope Mussina’s a Oriole when he goes to Cooperstown as a HOFer.
