Since his April trip to the Korean minor leagues Jose Lima has brought nothing but May flowers to Gwangju, home of the Kia Tigers. In less ridiculous words — he’s put his team in position to win ballgames.

Through four starts in May hitters managed just a .174 batting average against Jose to go along with a 3.98 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. He won two of the four starts. June has brought more of the same and he’s turned in two quality starts, surrendering four runs in 12 2/3 innings.

His next start will come Friday night as the Tigers take on the champion SK Wyvrens in Incheon.

The best part about it is that he’s all alone in the dugout!
