I’m Going to Wine Can and Dine You

May 29th, 2008 Shinsano · 6 Comments

I grew up around vineyards. My childhood buddy’s family owned one and made their own wine, and at the end of our street was a vineyard owned by DeLoach vineyards. I rode the school bus with one of the kids from the Korbel family. My uncle is a wine broker. He imports fine wines from Europe and sells them to hotels in Las Vegas and other places in the world.

The point being — I like wine. Not in a snobby, know-it-all way, but I just like it. Problem is, in Korea it’s usually fairly expensive owing to the fact that the tariffs on wine are high. Well, I just got some really good news, because now I can buy wine (red, white, and pink) in a can.

I think a can of the red would go well with a nice plate of spaghetti. Too bad I’m not still single. Breaking out a couple cans of this during a romantic night would make any lady swoon.

I don’t get it. Does one no longer swoon one’s lady after marriage? I know it’s hard after 12 years, but I still try to when possible.

You have a point Westbay-san. I guess I usually assume that “hey babe, I’ve been bloggin’ for hours” will do the trick.

Tough call…..win in a box or win in a can. I guess the can is easier to transport.

Um. I meant wine in a can.
Win in a can would be like a 5 ft. 6 pitcher.

    Ok, I better stop now.
