Don’t get me wrong, I was no fan of Jeorg Haider, but does anyone find this cartoon in yesterday’s Korea Times appropriate?
If Kim Jong-il were to die in a car crash you’d be hard pressed to find anything approaching this in a Korean newspaper. Kim has been much more of a menace — not to mention every bit the racist — that Haider was. At least Haider was somewhat reformed by the time he died.
This is just bad journalism. I bet the paper will pull it…let’s save it here for posterity’s sake.
