Hey remember that great YouTube video of the Singaporean Media Development Authority rapping and rocking their way into all our hearts? Well, according to this AFP story the clip generated enough response that the Singaporean government has moved to censor it.
Since it was posted on the You Tube video-sharing website two weeks ago, the film, which lasts almost five minutes, has generated 60,648 hits and more than 300 comments — many of them negative and filled with expletives.
I think this is an obvious case of media censorship benefiting the greater society. For those of you foolish enough to pass on the vid the first time you can still find the video here.

Scary. The video. Not the censorship. Although that’s not great either.
