Odd little item I just found on Brian’s site, a new gas station in Seoul aimed at female drivers. Looks, um, girly. According to the item it also features a saloon  providing nail care, cooking lessons and other services. I was wondering what other services, so I did a search in Korean and turned up an interior photo. Doesn’t look like any gas station I’ve ever been in…

There are a number of Korean gas stations that have women dress up in short skirts and white gloves. I want to say it’s SK, but I can’t be sure of it since I don’t have a car and only look at gas stations when they have girls in short skirts and white gloves.

Whoa, I tried looking around for other pictures. Looks really nice . . . but, um, if you’re at a gas station, doesn’t that mean you have a car? And are in a hurry?

BTW, the title of my post refers to the “saloon.” Cheap laughs, I know.

Aaron, there’s a gas station near our Farm in Tuku that has a pink exterior and the name of the gas station is “Beni Bear”. It’s cute and cuddly. The funny thing is that there are grizzled looking guys smoking and repairing bikes outside of it, apparently unfazed by the cute facade.

I’ll snap a photo next time.
