Another foreigner got into the action of a Korean baseball game. This time in the eighth inning of Saturday night’s Hanwha/LG tilt in Daejeon. Not sure what this cat was drinking, but a no shoes, no socks, madras slide into home seems like something one might regret come Sunday morning. Maybe he got a hold of some U.S. beef.
Good thing he had his Lifeforce bracelet on.
Call me crazy, but I bet a lot of Koreans like this.

I tuned in just in time to catch this last night. I have no idea what Koreans think of this. Personally, speaking as an expat, I find it terribly embarrassing.
What happened to this guys shoes and socks? Bonus points for an attempted high five of the security guards when he was being dragged off.

Maybe he’s actually a cool guy but he reminds me of every former fratboy expat I’ve met who doesn’t realize that college is over and it’s not actually cool to brag about how many Korean busses you’ve puked on.

I’m wondering at what point the hammer will come down. My guess is that this guy saw Mr. Clean in action. At what point does it become a trend? Maybe they’ll start banning foreigners from attending games.
Hey Matt how does this guy’s form compare to that shirtless father/son team that ran onto the field in Chicago?

The father and son team were that not too rare combination of angry, stupid and drunk. This guy is just stupid and most likely drunk.
I’m waiting for a special “Foreigners Only” Section, you know, with metal bars, sniper towers and our own drinking fountains.
I guess last night a Korean guy did the same thing. This is getting popular.

I loved idea that those guys were father/son. What a bonding moment. The only thing better would to see it happen in Korea. Maybe throw in grandpa.

I wouldn’t be too worried about a foreinger jumping over a fence in the 8th inning of a baseball game for fun. Since when does that constitute being stupid or involve alcohol? last time I jumped over something I was 100% sober.
I am more worried about foreigners abusing drugs, disrespecting women and Korean culture in general . I take this as a breath of fresh air compaired to seeing people being deported for criminal activity or fraud.
The point I am trying to make is, you don’t have a clue who this guy is, so passing judgement is just being silly.
At the end of the day nobody got hurt and I guarantee you this made more people smile then you think. He is out having a good time and you are sitting in your studio writing pretentious columns and blog comments. (*claps) Keep pluggin’ away, we’re all REAL impressed…

Well, I think “disrispecting Korean culture,” which you mentioned as #3 on your list of concerns, is exactly the issue at hand here. So are you refuting your own point or are you too stupid to realize you’re refuting your own point?
In any event you’re right…I should give up my writing, go run out on a baseball field and have some fun. Thanks for the tip.

Like for Muay Thai? Or is that only for the touristy ones?

Haha, the natives are getting into it too!? Now the TV networks and security guards have to put a stop to the spread of fans running wild eh

they should kick that piece of crap out of the country. send him back here to the U.S. where he’d get a good ass-kicking for pulling that kind of stunt.

Judge Judy has spoken…
GUILTY, sentenced to forced running onto the field at Veterans Stadium wearing a Mets jersey.
