Admit it. The first time you heard “Raising Hell” by RUN D.M.C. your life changed forever. So let’s take a break from baseball for a moment to check out what is one of the greatest videos ever made–an early clip of RUN-D.M.C. performing “Sucker M.C.’s” on an episode of the TV “Graffiti Rock”. Your day or life won’t be complete until you watch this. And wouldn’t you know it, Kool Moe Dee and Special K from the Treacherous Three just happen to show up around 3:50 because “there’s a battle brewin’”. I’mma step off. Word.
(The whole thing is marvelous but if you skim through it, make sure to catch the initial interview with the dancers, the nerdy guy poppin at 0:25 and the awkward hip-hop handshakes from the host around 3:35.)
