To follow up yesterday’s post, this video highlights not dekochari trucks, but bicycles, which also became popular amongst Japanese who were too young to drive. Same idea.
As opposed to the video in the other post, there’s no female police officer losing her top in the wind of a passing dekochari truck in this one, but it does have the same great song — “Ichiban-boshi Blues” by Bunta Sugawara and Kinya Aikawa.
