Not bad. A .667 SO CG AVE. Box here.
From Japanball:
Darvish (3-0) took a no-hitter into the sixth and finished with a three-hitter while striking out six and walking one in a 95-pitch outing at Sapporo Dome. Terrmel Sledge gave Darvish the only run he would need with a bases-loaded sacrifice fly in the seventh.

Why do people always say, “complete game shutout” when a shutout is a complete game? Drives me nuts sometimes.

Because multiple pitchers can combine on a shutout but a complete game is by definition thrown by a single pitcher. The former entails no runs scored, while the latter entails a pitcher recording all of the team’s outs. They are not interchangeable.

No, they’re not, but if I say, “Andy Pettitte threw a shutout,” it’s understood he pitched a complete game. Saying, “Andy Pettitte threw a complete game shutout” is using two words more than necessary. In that usage, “complete game” is redundant. Maybe I didn’t make myself clear enough.
