With the Whales and T-Rex gone, can the CPBL survive?

CPBL’s problem isn’t with the number of teams. Decreasing the numbers of teams won’t help CPBL, it won’t hurt it that much either. The issue is still about whether or not the league can function independently, and if the government will take a pro-active stance on cracking down organizations that coerce players into fixing games.
Most likely these two issues won’t be dealt with, and most likely the league will not survive much longer.

The government is currently too busy cracking down on record store owners playing songs that offend Chinese delegates to deal with baseball. Hansioux is probably right.

I just like the idea of you walking out to a beach in Taiwan and dumping a 40 in memory of the Chinatrust Whales. Did you kind of do it with one hand held straight out and your head tilted?

I thought of another scenario you should look into Jackson. Find a Taiwanese baseball event where they’ll be a lot of people. Walk out to the pitchers mound for a solemn announcement, then pull that Taiwanese money out of your pocket and hold it over your head, with your head down. Just let the crowd react.

Sorry, I mean the money with the little league team on it.
