It’s getting to the point where Kim Ng’s name is automatically coming up anytime a GM vacancy opens. It might yet take a while, but it’s not out of the question that we could have our first female general manager in the bigs by winter’s end.
Ng, whose Chinese name is ä¼ä½©ç´ (Wu Peiqins), recently did a chat for MLB.com that actually tackles some tough questions, despite it being on the rather, um, diplomatic mouthpiece of the major leagues.
During the chat Ng discusses player development in Asia, the pressure of the arbitration room, and the prospect of becoming the first female GM in baseball history.
