And Don’t Forget the Way We Were

A few FYIs to shuffle and deal here. One, is I have food poisoning. Could impact future samgyupsal eating or it might be the end of crumb cakes left on the kitchen counter throughout the day.

Worse, in a few hours I’m getting on a plane and flying to the United States. I’ll be there through most of February. I’m not sure how much you’ll notice the change — I’ll still post occasionally from the road and I’m sure Jackson will chime in now and again. But you may have noticed there have been a number of posts the past couple weeks. It won’t be like that.

A couple people have emailed me about the irregularity of our Roto Massage positional previews. They’re about to become more irregular to the tune of zero for three weeks. Sorry about that, we’ll try to get on it once I’m back in Korea.

On the topic of Roto stuff watch out for news concerning an East Windup Chronicle league once Yahoo! puts up the 2008 edition. First I’m going to contact people who have written for us in the past, but then we’ll open it up to the readers. It should be fun. Jackson has promised the winner a “roto massage.” With that in mind I’ll be picking Sean Casey with my first pick.

If you were at a restaurant, you have to be careful. The servers will regularly put the raw pork onto the cooking pork without thinking twice (it gave me gastroenteritis). National soccer team member Jo Jae Jin (his Romanization?) became ill just this past week when he came back to Korea from Europe. Hope you feel better because being sick in a foreign country is not fun.

I once flew from Osaka to Chicago (via Korean Air so we stopped in Seoul) after contracting salmonella the previous night. Not fun. Damn you, Japanese pizza!

I guess it could have been worse. Oddly, I think it may have been some onions at the samgyupsal place I ate at. At least it stopped me from trying to eat the food on Northwest Air.
